Jack Pot Classes back for 2010!!

Jack Pot classes will continue to be offered during our 2010 show season.

They will run within the designated class during the show schedule.  To enter a Jack Pot class you must pay an additional $10 per class.  In other words you will pay your regular class fee plus $10.

There will be no gate entries.  You must enter the class at least 3 classes before the Jack pot class.  For your convenience we have added the Jack Pot classes to our entry form which will automatically tally your fees.

Participation Award Program!! 

Yes we are continuing the very popular Participation Award Program for the 2010 season.   

 Details to follow!!  Also check back for a new incentive program...PAINT BUCKS.  Earn them at the shows and use them for discounts on office fees, details coming soon!!

Attention Solid Bred Paint Owners!

We have had many requests to add a Year End Award for Solid Bred Paints.  Starting this year at our April Show there will be daily high point and reserve high point award.  There will also be SBP Year End High Point and Reserve. 

take note that there are some strict regulations regarding hauling horses to shows:NM LIVESTOCK BOARD INTRASTATE TRAVEL (WITHIN NEW MEXICO) REGULATIONS as of August 2009

1. Proof of ownership: bill of sale, registration papers (within district).

2. Brand inspection „Form 1‟ or permanent hauling papers (1h). Brand inspection 'Form 1' or

permanent hauling papers (1h).

3. For events and exhibitions a negative "Coggins" test (for EIA) within past twelve months.

Up to date travel regulations are available at the NM Livestock board website: http://www.nmlbonline.com/ ―Import/ Export/ Exhibition‖ tab on the left of the page

The Coggins test is available from your vet for around 30 dollars—depending on the vet. You should allow 10 days for the results, so don’t wait until the last minute.
